MIT Sloan MBA Essays & Deadlines for 2014-15 (Class of 2017)
MIT Sloan School of Management released its essays and deadlines for 2014-15. Sloan reversed a growing trend among business schools of reducing total word count of essays. Sloan’s word count increased from 1,000 words to 1,250 words. In what appeared to be a subtle dig at other schools, MIT Sloan’s Admissions Director said, “We do not believe in only using numbers and standardized test scores to build our incoming classes.” The Admissions Director also anticipates that the application would go live by the end of July.
