MIT Sloan MBA Program

For those of you applying to MIT’s Sloan MBA program, there is some reason to cheer. MIT Sloan MBA Program has released its essays and deadlines for the Class of 2015 i.e. the class entering in Fall 2013. The school mentioned that while the essays and deadlines are being released already, the application would be available in early August.

As expected, MIT has kept it favored Cover Letter a constant. In line with some of the changes we have seen with the other schools, MIT has lowered the number of words you are expected to answer as part of the cover letter and essays from 2,000 to 1,500.

Looking at the essays, some of the things that stand out are that you really need to show that you have made intentional moves along the way in your career, you are able to bring about change and influence people, and that you have the ability to face a challenge and overcome it.
