Welcome to Crack The MBA
Hi All, my name is Nupur Gupta and I am starting this blog at CrackTheMBA.com in response to requests I have received for advice on MBA applications, choice of school, essay proofreading, resume review, and the like (you get the idea). For the past few years, I have been helping students with their applications and it has been extremely gratifying to hear about acceptances at their dream schools.
Having completed my MBA at one of the top graduate programs globally, I understand what it takes to get that coveted acceptance letter and the hours and hours of painstaking effort that one needs to put into the process. However, once the applications are over and you actually crack the mba, it is an extremely gratifying experience and well worth the effort. Not to forget that your business school would be your brand for life. In fact, when I was in the stage that the readers of this post likely are in, I was attending information events from schools and it was at one such event (at Wharton) that I heard an alum state that an MBA program remains your brand for life. This message really left a deep impression in my mind and I am glad I took those words to heart because it always pushed me to try that extra bit, miss the holiday season, stay in for New Year’s just working diligently on those applications.
Please do feel free to reach out to me with comments / questions / suggestions and things you would like to see and I look forward to this journey.
One of the challenges I faced during my research was that I would get so immersed in all the material that would be available on the Internet that I would spend more time browsing and looking up information on the MBA than intended. So, here’s to getting off the Internet and diving right in to your GMAT preparation and applications so you too can Crack The MBA!
