Shooting on MIT Campus near Building 32 Computer Science & AI Lab (less than a mile from MIT Sloan)
In another setback in Boston following the Boston Marathon blasts that killed 3 and injured over 100 individuals on April 16, 2013, there was shooting on MIT campus. Following the shooting on April 19, 2013, the campus policeman was found lying near Building 32 i.e. the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). The policeman was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police was on the scene investigating the situation. The university has advised people to stay away from the building as the situation is considered potentially dangerous.
The CSAIL building is located less than a mile away from Building E62 i.e. Sloan School of Management.
